About Candidate
My interest for data analytics stems from a deep curiosity to uncover hidden patterns and insights that can drive impactful decision-making. Whether it’s tracking my water intake or analyzing my spending habits, I’ve always been drawn to utilizing raw data to generate useful information. My interest in the field was initially sparked by my fascination with Netflix’s personalized recommendations and the data-driven approach they use to tailor content to users. Since then, I’ve been exploring various tools and techniques to aid me in this pursuit.
I’ve honed my skills in data analysis through the use of Excel and Python, which have allowed me to work with data sets of varying sizes and complexity. Additionally, I’m proficient in SQL for querying databases and have experience creating visualizations using Tableau. As a current master’s student in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics at Carnegie Mellon University, my coursework and projects have focused on data transformation and analysis to extract insights that can be applied to real-world situations.
I strongly believe that data-driven decision-making is the way forward, and that the most effective insights are derived at the intersection of human judgement and data. As such, I’m dedicated to continuing my growth in the field and applying my skills to help individuals and companies make informed decisions that positively impact their lives and business.
